In the early parts of my morning at work, the spirit spoke this to me and told me to share it. The spirit spoke the phrase “Release and Regain, Release and Regain”. Now of course I got excited about the regain part; we all have lost something either the enemy took or we allowed him to take that we want back. Some of us allowed the enemy to come in and steal our joy, some of us granted the enemy access of our finances, some of us allowed the enemy to come into our families, our marriages, some allowed the enemy to come in a steal our confidence and self-esteem. Whatever the situation or case might be, at some point in each of our lives there was something that we had possession of that we allowed the enemy to snatched from us.
However, the spirit did not just say “Regain” the spirit said “Release and Regain, Release and Regain”. In order to regain our ownership of those things that we lost we have to let go of some things. Sounds easy, but we all have a testament of just how hard releasing something can actually be. Some have been without joy for so long that bitterness has rested in the heart for so long and bitterness is not something that is easy to release. For someone who is currently living pay check to pay check, struggling and barely making; releasing tithes and offering is not something that is going to be easy to do. For couples who have been angry and bitter towards each other, barely holding on to their marriage for any length of time; releasing that bitter and regaining love is not something that is going to be easy to do. In order to regain that what we have lost, we have to let go of some things that are dwelling in our spirits, in our hearts. “Release and Regain, Release and Regain”, means we have to let go of whatever that is holding us back from taking back what is rightfully ours. As joint heirs to the throne, joy rightfully belongs to us; as joint heirs of the throne prosperity rightfully belongs to us. The bible says in Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” that means that confidence and self-esteem rightfully belongs to us.
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”---John 10:10Again, I urge and emphasize how important it is for us to take the steps that is needed to begin chipping at the barriers, those obstacles that are within us that are stopping our ability to live life and live it more abundantly than what we have been. Whatever you need to release, release it, if you do not know how to release it ask God to show you what needs to be done. In doing so, be obedient, take heed to the word that God speaks to you personally, carry out his instruction according to his direction and allow him to move in your life like never before. Jesus said that “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”---John 10:10. God is a God of more….which means by releasing what does not belong to us (bitterness, depression, hatred, poverty, sickness…) we will regain that which belongs to us (joy, peace, love, prosperity, healing…) and not only will we regain those things, we will regain them in abundance. We will have the joy that we once had plus more, the money that we had before, plus more.
“For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.”--- Isaiah 61:7The spirit said “Release and Regain Release and Regain” let’s do it.
Be blessed and as always BE ENCOURAGED!!!
